Hannibal Lang
Senior Colorist Hannibal Lang’s passion for the artistic and technical aspects of grading has led him to collaborate closely with some of the world’s most renowned directors and cinematographers. Hannibal’s distinguished list of collaborators includes acclaimed directors Andreas Nilsson, MEGAFORCE, Martin de Thurah, Sam Brown, Steve Rogers, Martin Werner, and Bianca Poletti, as well as cinematographers Kasper Tuxen, Peter Deming, Charlotte Bruus Christensen, Alexis Zabe, and Lasse Frank.
His commercial credits feature award-winning projects for brands such as Uber Eats, Nike, Apple, Velux, IKEA, Barclaycard, and Audi. Among his recent highlights is Uber Eats – Dance, directed by Andreas Nilsson and shot by Peter Deming, which was shortlisted at the D&AD Awards and won a Bronze Arrow at the British Arrows in 2023.
In addition to his commercial work, Hannibal is deeply engaged in long-form projects. His latest work, the period drama The Promised Land, directed by Nikolaj Arcel and shot by Rasmus Videbæk, and starring Mads Mikkelsen, was selected for the main competition at the 2023 Venice International Film Festival and shortlisted for the 2024 Oscars for Best International Feature Film.
Other notable works include the HBO Nordic series Kamikaze and the critically acclaimed feature film Unruly, directed by Malou Reymann and screened at TIFF, as well as the Zentropa-produced Riders of Justice, directed by Anders Thomas Jensen and shot by Kasper Tuxen.
